Plymouth’s TR2 has been building the set for the musical Lend Me A Tenor which opens at the Theatre Royal Plymouth on 24 September 2010. The show – which is on until 6 October 2010 – opens in Plymouth prior to an anticipated West End run.
Described as a “riotous, unpredictable explosion of mistaken identities and unexpected romance” the show stars Matthew Kelly. Five scenic artists have worked for two months to gild parts of the set to create the interior of an opera house.
